As part of the With a backpack across Slovakia edition, the Dajama family publishing house has prepared new book tourist guides around Slovakia, which will take you into the Little Carpathian countryside. the most interesting hiking trails with detailed tourist destinations await you. the information is supplemented by map sections, time data or beautiful photographs. a popular addition to both books is a tourist map at a scale of 1: 50,000.
All routes are based on the personal experience of the authors and collaborators, thus offering guaranteed tips for trips in the beautiful mountains of Slovakia.
The tourist guide "Little Carpathians - South" in the introduction will present general information about natural conditions or principles of movement in nature. There is also a detailed description of starting or destination points with regard to transport accessibility. but then there are nooks around Bratislava. you can go to military bunkers, Devínská Kobyla or Devín Castle. you can walk around the floodplain of Moravia, to Kačín, the Stupava Blue Trail, as well as to the source of Vydrica, around Sur, Limbach, etc. There are even two cross-border trips to the top, Königswarte or Braunsberg in neighboring Austria.
The tourist guide "Little Carpathians - North" will similarly guide you through general information about the mountains, this time around Trnava. Then you go to Vysoká, Velká homola or Červený Kameň. you will not miss the Swimming Castle, Vápenná, trips around Bradl and you will also visit the Smolenice Karst. There are also three challenging all-day ridge transitions waiting for you.
These guides complemented last year's collection of books from the mountainous areas of the Tatras, Fatra and the Slovak Paradise. you can buy publications in any good bookstore, e-shop or you can even win them!
