Glaciers, Lenin and four season periods

Svalbard (Spitzbergen), goup of islands, placed on half-way between North Pole Circle and North Pole, rough Arctic wilderness, is a country passing through big changes. Through fjords, where the vessels of hunters and whalers, or coal-steamers flew in past, now, there appeared excursion vessels.

OMO RIVER or HIPPO HIGHWAY

After a descent of Blue Nile we heal our eszemas and weak dehydratation.The capital of Ethiopia is situated nearly 2500 of the sea level, so we are not disturbed by mosquitos finally. we order substantial portions of meals in local restaurants, in order to add the lost power and kilos.

THE EXCURSION to the NILE

Meanwhile our paddlers conquer the Blue Nile, we decide to make an excursion – we walk through the mountains in order to see the Nile River from a short distance at least. Local people draw our attention to the fact that it could be dangerous , the way is distant and in bad condition. Never mind, our experience could not be nice, it is important that it is hard.

Safari

We are tired with paddling, so we are forwarding our journey for at least two days to visit the reservation where live the original African animals. Local people discharged them not to threaten their villages.

The Expedition to the Nile Sources Begins

We are meeting in our office in Dobronická Street and are doing our best to roll up all. Although the closing time is stipulated at 8 a.m. we meet all finally towards 10 a.m. at the same time it begins a total chaos while packing all belongings. we have found that the programme for films-cutting is missing , so we are looking for it franticly.
