About the Bookguide

The aim of the new guide to ski touring routes is primarily to provide ski tourists with difficult information about the marked or experienced ascent routes.

In the guide you will find basic information about the ski resort, the possibilities of undemanding skiing around the ski slopes and the proposal of the most interesting downhill.

Mobile App

To improve the orientation of ski mountaineers on and around the ski slopes, the mobile application SKIALP TRASY (so far only for the ANDROID operating system) has been developed, which is available to readers of the book free of charge. This application can be downloaded in book price 2 ×. with this app you can check your location directly in the field and eventually return to the ascent route or the ski resort in the valley.

The book publication describes the ascent routes in the following ski resorts: for the HIGH and WESTERN TATRAS - Tatranska Lomnice, Strbske Pleso, Zuberec - Rohace Spalena; for the area of LOW TATRAS - Demanovska Valley - Chopok North, Bystra - Chopok South, Myto pod Dumbierem, Certovica, Vysna Boca - Bacova Roven, Severe Poruba - Opalisko; for the area of SMALL and BIG FATRA - Vratna - Bread, Vratna - Paseky (Terchova), Martin - Martinske hole, Valca - Valcianska Valley, Ruzomberok - Malino Brdo, Donovaly - Nova Hola, for the ORAVA area was processed Dolny Kubin - Kubinska Hola.

In 1974, it was one of the major achievements of the emerging generation of mountaineers, which may be an inspiration for the current mountaineering generation. His first book edition sold out within a few weeks, and so a limited reprint was made due to the large number of candidates.
